There's been a lot of talk recently, both good and bad, about the
Auctions For Income infomercial.
It's time to finally give you the real scoop about Auctions For
Income by Dave Espino.
Is it a scam? Is it a quality product? Is it worth it?
I ordered the basic package for $39.99 (or $39.95...I don't
remember) plus shipping.
I didn't pay extra for 2nd day shipping but they sent it 2nd day
UPS anyway. :)
The Auctions For Income package includes the following:
- "Click Start" Video (20 minutes or so)
- "Click Start" Manual (55 pages)
- "Turning Household Trash Into Cold Hard Cash" Manual (37 pages)
- "Seized Property Sales" Manual (35 pages)
- "Wholesale License To Profits!" Manual (24 pages)
- Access to the Member's Web site
- 30 Minute One On One Auction Startup
One quick comment: These manuals have fairly large margins in the
middle for you to take notes. So they could probably be
condensed to less pages...but notes are good...take notes! :)
Let's go step by step through the package, shall we?
"Click Start" Video:
Basically just teaches you how to register on eBay and talks a
bit about eBay and Online Auctions in general.
Also quickly covers buying/selling/research.
Overall rating: Very basic. Definitely watch it if you've never
sold on eBay. If you've already started selling you can pretty
much pass this up.
"Click Start" Manual:
This manual covers all the basics. If you've been selling on
eBay for a while you probably won't learn too much from this.
But there's always something to learn, isn't there? So I think
even if you're not a complete eBay newbie you should still read
this over.
Quick rating: Basic, but good. Read it.
"Turning Household Trash Into Cold Hard Cash" Manual:
Although I already knew most of these techniques I really liked
Dave's "Multiple Visits For More Success" flea market strategy.
I've never been a big flea market guy, but this has interested me
enough to go give them a close look. Dave focuses a lot on how
to find stuff cheap and sell it for profit. The ultimate goal
of all eBay sellers, right?
Garage sales, yard sales, consignment selling, and flea markets
are the main focus of this manual.
Quick rating: Good. Some very valuable information.
"Seized Property Sales" Manual:
This is by far my favorite part of the Auctions For Income
system. It focuses on live auctions where you can buy lots of
good stuff for a very low cost. But not only that, Dave provides
links to where you can find these live auctions. This saves you
a bit of the hassle of locating them yourself. Of course, you've
still got work to do! An eBay business is work. If anybody
tells you otherwise they're lying.
Quick rating: Great! I liked this one a lot.
"Wholesale License To Profits!" Manual:
This is where Dave talks about drop shippers and wholesalers. He
also talks about the drop shipper you have access to when
purchasing Auctions For Income.
The low point of this is that he explains how to but/sell from
wholesalers but he doesn't provide any information about how to
find wholesalers. That would have been great info to include for
the eBay beginner.
Quick rating: OK, but lacking. Because it doesn't explain how to
find wholesalers I don't really like this manual. I know how to
find wholesalers myself, but most people who will be purchasing
Auctions For Income probably do not.
Member's Web site:
This is where you go for the links to the drop shipper and it
also includes the links to the live auctions from the seized
property sales manual.
30 Minute One On One Auction Startup:
I didn't take advantage of this so I have no comments.
Overall Auctions For Income rating: Very good product for the
beginner. But, as with any product, don't expect to buy it and
start making hundreds of dollars starting tomorrow. It takes
work!
New to eBay? Then I believe this is definitely worth the small
investment.
Been on eBay for a while? You'll probably still learn some
things that will increase your profits. Remember, all it takes
is one tiny money-making idea and you've more than made back the
investment.
