Just wanted to say your 16 day eBay course is great!

I also wanted to let you know what happened after taking action on my newfound knowledge...

I went into the attic and while carefully dodging the spider webs, I came upon a box of old 8 track tapes. Everything from the Partridge Family to Jimmy Hendrix. There were about 10.

It was a Saturday and my youngest boy came running up to me as I came down the ladder from the attic. He saw the tapes and asked what they were. I explained and he said he had just come from his friend's house whose next-door neighbor was having a garage sale and that he saw a lot of those "8 track thingies" while he was there.

I immediately went over there and this lady had a laundry basket full of old 8 track tapes. I asked her how much she wanted for them and she said, "I'll sell ya the clothes basket for $5.00 and you can have everything that is in the basket (There were some other items also).

Anyway, I took my basket home and went through all of the 8 track tapes. I wrote down a brief list, took pictures of them in groups of about 8, and listed them on eBay. I took one of your suggestions and started the entire lot at .99. In my description I listed almost all of the titles of the groups on the tapes.

I started a 5 day auction and ended up with 84 bids and the lot sold for 158.00!!!! I was shocked at the feeding frenzy near the closing time.

The rest is eBay history!
